I go back to school. I get to see my classmates who I was at Disneyland with. That was nice. In a matter of an hour or so, I've talked to all the administrators and my instructor. Not that I was anticpating problems but I don't run into any so I am thrilled.
I head out to gather things we weren't able to get on our "life essentials" list. What I think will only take an hour ends up taking two. Ugh!
I need to get home to do my homework as I plan to be back in classes on Tuesday.
We get word that no bodies were found in the search and rescue that the residents of the 124 units can return to get basic things from their homes. And that the other residents can ride in a bus and get a look at their units. We opt not to do that. There are plenty of others who want to get inside to see their places asap. We know our unit is gone and we will wait until the crowds die down.
We sit down to our first meal in our apartment at a decent time and all go to bed at a normal time. Life is starting to feel a little normal.
